JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Social Media Executive to join our marketing team.

Social Media & Content

• Help drive Comic Con India’s content strategy – create & execute out of the box ideas and content. Channels include (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Snap, YouTube, Instagram
• Work closely with in-house design & video team to create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written)
• Help with campaign ideation and relevant content to drive sales campaigns and key events
• Oversee ORM – Monitor, listen and respond in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and engagement
• Curate relevant content to drive maximum engagement for target audience
• Develop and expand community and drive outreach efforts on social.
• Compile report for management showing results (ROI).
• Drive and monitor UGC and social at on-ground events.
• Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.

Digital Media & Content

• Conceptualize and create up-to-date and innovative content for owned assets, such as website and app

Skills & Attributes:

• Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media
• A strong grasp of pop-culture, fandoms and comic book – and the ability to convert knowledge into tangible engagement
• Maintains excellent writing and language skills
• Team player with the confidence to take the lead when necessary
• Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms

Eligibility:

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Post-graduate degree in mass communications (or related) preferred.
• Previous experience in social media domain, preferably within the entertainment and events sector preferred.

Please note that this position involves travel. The candidate will be required to travel 3-6 times a year.
