Social Media Head

The Pinkvilla team is looking for a talented, experienced Social Media Manager tol work closely with the Leadership, Marketing and Product team and contribute to the overall social media strategy.

What do you need to do? (Role and Responsibilities)

  • Develop creative and engaging social media strategies that will contribute to the user growth and increase the brand reach across all social media platforms for Pinkvilla and other properties of Pinkvilla.
  • Manage and meet the business targets in terms of social media reach and user engagement.
  • Manage, motivate and coach the social media team, oversee their work and schedules and provide guidance.
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels adapting content to suit different channels
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite
  • Create engaging multimedia content across our social media platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook and other partners.
  • Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote the organization and brand
  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
  • Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights
  • Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity, including competitor content and target audience
  • Recommend improvements to increase performance
  • Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
  • Manage a budget for social media activities
  • Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within your company (in-house roles)
  • Encourage collaboration across teams and departments

Who could you be? Background and Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience managing social media platforms for a publisher.
  • Experience in handling a team.
  • Proven experience in driving the growth and meeting target numbers for social media.
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in all social media platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Youtube, Facebook.
  • Experience of Google Analytics, Sprinklr, Hootsuite
